STEMx is a day-long event for middle schoolers that is held on a Saturday in October. It includes icebreakers, design competitions, and RSO-run workshops. STEMx is less about UIUC, and more about what is possible in the field of STEM, ultimately aimed at encouraging middle school students to consider pursuing an education and career in it. Parent-workshops provided as well.
